Some stories are created.
Others are inherited.

I was born and raised in Crete in a farming family. My parents worked the land, just as the parents of my wife did. Some of my earliest memories are among the olive trees — playing, climbing their branches and learning, from a young age, the value of hard work, patience and respect for nature.

Today, our family continues that tradition in Plora, Messara, producing organic extra virgin olive oil from our own olive groves. AURUM ELEA carries the same values we inherited: honesty, care for the land and respect for what nature gives us.

A place shaped by history

Plora stands within the historic landscape of Messara, between ancient Gortys and Phaistos. For thousands of years, people have cultivated this land. Agriculture, history and the olive tree remain deeply connected here.
